Crowning the Empress | Online Art Exhibition

Pareidolia Art Space invites you to submit your works to our upcoming online art exhibition dedicated

to the theme of “Crowning the Empress.”    As autumn unfolds, bringing a season of harvest and

reflection, we invite artists to explore themes of triumph, abundance, and nurturing energy through

the lens of the Empress archetype. Defined by Carl Jung, the Empress represents the Great

Mother—a central figure in the collective unconscious embodying nurturing and creative forces.

She reflects attributes of fertility, abundance, and unconditional love, connecting us to the cyclical

nature of life. The Empress encourages us to embrace our own creative potential and find balance

by nurturing both ourselves and others. As we gather the fruits of our labour and prepare for the

quieter days of winter, we reflect on the empowerment and fulfilment that the Empress signifies.

The archetype of the Empress is celebrated across various traditions through goddesses such as

Demeter,     Pomona, Amaterasu, Bharat Mata, Tara, Pachamama, Živa, Laima, Rūpė  and many

 other.

•  How does the Empress’s triumph manifest in your work?

•  How do the vibrant, transformative energies of autumn align with the realisation of your inner

 power and abundance?

We welcome works that celebrate the richness of the season, the completion of cycles, and the

preparation for introspection on creative achievements. Whether through visual art, digital media, photography, or mixed media, we seek pieces that resonate with the themes of empowerment, harvest, and the nurturing spirit of the Empress. All are welcome to participate—gender is not a factor in celebrating this archetype!

Join us in honouring the majesty and abundance of this time, as we celebrate the

 “Crowning the Empress.”
